Rainy Day Play day

Today started out with a playdate over at Melissa's house to celebrate a friends new baby. We get together with this group fairly regularly and Rett seems to really enjoy playing with his friends. Picture this: 4 two year olds, 4 newborns, 4 moms and lots of chaos. I love playday's like this because it's a recipe for a great afternoon nap! Rett and Ellie BOTH slept for 2 hrs(at the same time)! I did not snap any pics...but these are a few Melissa took:





After naptime Rett was dying to go outside and jump in some puddles. So, I indulged him. Almost everytime it rains (as long as it's not thundering or lightening) I let him suit up with his rainjacket and boots and go outside. You can really see the boy come out in him when he's "one with nature".
